Job Title: Public Relations Account Coordinator
Location: Remote
Reports to: Director of Communications
About the Role:
C&C - a senior living digital marketing, advertising, and public relations agency - is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Public Relations Account Coordinator to join our team.
This role will involve working closely with clients and media outlets to support public relations (PR) initiatives and communications strategies. You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating media interviews, and assisting with PR scheduling and content creation. Key Responsibilities:
- PR Coordination: Schedule and track PRs in MuckRack, assist with content creation (including blogs), and manage PR approvals.
- Media Relations: Coordinate media interviews and liaise between clients and media outlets.
- Administrative Support: Manage internal PR processes, including sending PRs for review and following up on approvals.
- Client Facing: Conduct client calls/Zoom/Teams meetings, provide PR training, and address client questions and requests.
- PR Monitoring: Monitor key platforms (Agorapulse, Birdeye, Facebook/Meta, Yelp, Glassdoor, Google, Caring, A Place for Mom, etc.) and respond to client reviews and requests.
How Success Will Be Measured:
- Efficiently managing time to balance fast-paced demands while consistently delivering high-quality, accurate work that meets client expectations and deadlines.
- Demonstrated growth in client engagement, including increased usage and adoption of PR services during the onboarding process.
- Strong client relationships and satisfaction, as reflected in feedback and successful outcomes from media liaison efforts.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Background and/or degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, internships included.
- Familiarity with Trello, Slack, and MuckRack is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
